About

Enjoying the Outdoors

Living in Buffalo Wyoming, I’m blessed to be surrounded by mountains, canyons, sagebrush flats, rivers, wildlife, a bit of historic West, and wonderful people.

My primary hobbies are photography and woodworking. I love the outdoors – hiking, driving on forest roads or sagebrush flats, fishing with family, night skies, and simple wonders found in the backyard or garden. Photography is an interest that has grown strongly since 2005. Woodworking has been a skill and hobby that sprouted while I was working at a lumber mill many years prior.

I am blessed with a supportive wife (who has pointed out several great photo opportunities), and awesome children (now adults) who show interest and encourage me along the way.

On the left I am exploring the Bighorn Mountains with my most enthusiastic hiking companion, Zoe.  I see that photo is a couple years old , today we both have a little more of a silver tone.
